Almost a month?!

I can't believe that it's been almost a month since I've posted. I think I've been more of a reader than a poster lately. Life has been busy- we traveled to PA for Paul's family reunion, last weekend we traveled to NJ for a Rett Syndrome appointment, plus work and life have been happening.

Update on the kids: Kaila is doing well, still having some off days here and there but we started a new medicine and it seems to be helping. Kinley is crawling everywhere getting into everything. She does the cutest things like when you take something away from her she sticks her arms out, hands into a fist and yells at you. She is stubborn- wonder where she gets that from?!

Got a new MAC- love it! Didn't love the price but love the lightness of it. It doesn't take that much getting use to either- it's pretty easy to use. even for someone who has never used a MAC.

Oh I sell Creative Memories now :) I love to scrapbook and I love their products but I hate paying full price so I really signed up for the discount but I also love to share scrapbooking with others so I have had 1 get together so far. I hope to have more. The only problem with being a consultant is that my living room is full of all of the new products and if you've been to my house you know that I have a small living room that isn't big enough for our family let alone a bunch of scrapbooking items.

I am loving being a IRSF (International Rett Syndrome Foundation) Regional Rep and a Family Advisory Board Member. It is rewarding to help other families in the smallest of ways. I enjoy meeting these other parents (although I'm sad that it is under such circumstances).

Oh- I know what I almost forgot- I'm starting back to school! I'm hopefully starting back next month for my Bachelors in Social Work. I am already in the Human Service field and I have always wanted to be a counselor of some kind so it is high time I get back to school. This will be really crazy and hard to manage but it is necessary to get where I want to be and to make a better life for my family. I love to learn and I would be a student for the rest of my life if I could be so hopefully the homework won't get me down.

I think that's all for now, I'll try not to be a stranger. I think Kinley needs to start her own blog-she has lots to say. I'll see if I have time for that soon. Till next time- oh and thanks for following me (the 3 of you :)!
